In Massachusetts, a continued without a finding (CWOF) stays on a person’s record. After the designated time period of the CWOF is it will note that the case id dismissed but it remains on your record. You may be eligible to file a petiotion to seal a CWOF off your record. However, it may still be visible to certain government agencies, such as law enforcement or probation departments, and may also be considered in future criminal proceedings.
